Los Angles was struck by an earthquake on the eastern part on Tuesday, Tall buildings where rocking and rattling nerves across south California.There where no serious damage or injuries.
It was 11.42 am when quake hit local time (2.42 pm EDT) about 30 miles east of Los Angeles in suburban Chino Hills and registered a magnitude of 5.4 — making it one of the strongest seismic event centred near the United States’ second-largest city since the 6.7-magnitude Northridge quake in 1994. It was followed in the next few hours by more than 50 aftershocks.
