Singer Britney Spears has agreed to pay $20,000 a month to support her children who stay with her ex-husband Kevin Federline and also will pay for the lawyer’s bill $250,000 , according to a agreement filed in court on Friday.
The agreement settles the custody case pending in court between Spears, 26, and Federline, 30,
Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, last week told several media organisations that the agreement would allow Federline to retain sole custody of his children with Spears – Sean Preston, 2-1/2, and Jayden James, 22 months.
Spears and Federline married in 2004, and divorced in late 2006 and was finalized last year. Spears had lost custody of the boys in January due to her hospitalization for psychiatric evaluation.
During the time of divorce , Spears had displayed increasingly mad behavior in public like shaving of her head and chasing the paparazzi with an umbrella.
Spears in recent months has been given court permission for overnight visits with her sons.
